I think Real Estate is a topic for another thread, but it would be a good one. I would be shocked if that has not already been covered in detail here, so I will do some searching before starting another thread on that.
But to be clear, I DO include my primary residence as part of my Net Worth, but I do NOT include it in my Asset Allocation, i.e. my expression of 60/40 or 70/30 does not consider the value/equity in my home. Is there a "standard" for this?
