Rolling it into an inherited IRA at Fidelity would take maybe 10 minutes of your time. I’ve done this and it was mighty easy. Then you won’t have three parties involved (you, Fidelity, and folks in benefits at old corp) and the potential for confusion/mistakes/opacity will go way down.
In my case, I’m keeping as much in the inherited IRA as possible because I’ll be retiring (into a lower tax bracket) 3+ years before the 10-year clock is done.
