Hi all,
I'm new to Bogleheads, been doing a lot of reading, but I'm still trying to wade thru it all.
I'm about to enter retirement at 66, have in the last year inherited some stocks, cash, plus my
own and wife's accounts, I seem to have a tangled mess of accounts that I need to start consolidating!
At this point in our life we are trying to conserve while trying to keep up with inflation.
We currently have our main investment accounts with Vanguard, Fidelity and Schwab.
See the accounts rundown below. Looking for some recommendations on where to move and into what?
Any and all recommendations appreciated.
Accounts looking to consolidate:
Inherited RBC Stock account:
2 dividend Stocks 122K
Fixed Sweep Deposites 30K
Inherited:
ComputerShare 3 dividend Stocks 138K
AST 1 dividend Stock yikes too many shares! 472K
Inheritance IRA 12 Month Bank 46K
Inherited Cash put in A couple bank CDs
ED Jones IRAs predominantly in American Funds:
Trad 142K mine
Roth 42K wife
Pension Lump Sum Rollovers to IRAs bank IRAs, both mine & wife.
Plan to keep these accounts, and add to these:
Schwab brokerage account Roth IRA
Vanguard 403B TargetRetirement SSBOX 2020
Fidelity 403B TargetRetirement FID Freedom 2030
Wife also has Vanguard & Fidelity 403B accounts same funds.
HSA accounts:
Mine - with Health Equity, plan to move it to Fidelity
Wifes - with Fidelity (FDRXX)
My plan currently is to start with the Inherited RBC account, and Ed Jones accounts to consolidate 1st, as the bank IRAs & CDs become due I'll move them also.
