Brian, congrats on “chucking the rock” as we say. We need good, smart leaders in the USAF and in the Military in general especially now although it may not pay off for CQ as sadly he may have raised the attention of those looking to make examples of folks. I retired flying fighters after 20+ years and worked in business development with Lockheed for 15 yrs post military. Great job. When you decide to retire I am sure others will welcome your talents. Yell if I can help.

I remember Jack Welch former head of GE words on work life balance. He used the term “work life decisions”. Be a role model to decide to make your family a priority as you continue rise thru the ranks. Gen Baba Rand was one of my role models always keeping things in proper perspective. I just recently had a friend retire from the Air Force (few star) and it was known his daughters / family were not at his retirement.

Good luck in your move. Have a blast. Between the museums in DC, the local events, and the nearby shore there are places your kids will love. Funland in rehoboth beach is one of them.
