We contribute from our DAF every year—lots of short term activity.If one has a Donor Advised Fund with no planned investments then it seems it does not follow personal investment principles but is more akin to college endowment fund principles?
In the case of the former there is an end date for the holder some day in the future whereas in the case of the latter it is somewhat a perpetual investment.
If true, then would not that argue for the investment being 100% equity? The investment is for the long-term with no anticipated short-term withdrawals.
Are you holding funds in a DAF for a different purpose?
Or am I misunderstanding something?
