Did you document these non-deductible contributions on form 8606 Part I each year? One form for you, one for spouse. If not, that is the first thing you will need to do.
i tell turbotax about my traditional ira contributions and it tells me if I can deduct based on that year's income. Last 5 years or so I could not. I have all my turbotax records if needed.
Look at your past 5 years of returns for Form 8606. Tell us what you find.

Yes, our traditional IRAs have both deductible and non-deductible contributions.
