Even Buffett with his risk tolerance is only willing to put his wife in 90/10. Unless we’re talking buying at negative real yields, it’s hard to say no bonds. I’d at least keep 2x expenses in cash like even with negative real yields.
yes; OP suggested 5 years so seems fairly reasonable. Will be fairly compensated for risk and as long as can meet plan, I have no issues. Perhaps not what I would do but I too am fairly compensated for the risk I have assumed and will meet plan so quite satisfied. As far as I'm concerned, that's all that matters.
