Some may be good at finance but their level of conservatism will prWell trained event many from developing those skills necessary to be creative enough to generate ideas and the relationships needed to execute. Just look at what occurred at Boeing as an example of what happens when you let accountants exercise control over a precise engineering company. They let numbers override quality control and safety.
At undergraduate level, someone with an accounting degree can do a better job at finance area. So, why would they hire a person with a finance degree?
